Our Samsung Phone covers are made using Wheat straw material which is made from the natural by-product of wheat production. The stems of wheat contain a compound called Lignin which is responsible for the crop standing upright, so it’s got durability and strength at its core.

To put it simply, when Lignin is combined with sugar a bio-plastic can be made that can be turned into cases, plates, containers, straws, coffee cups and so much more

Is wheat straw plastic biodegradable?

Yes, it’s fully biodegradable, and our products can also be melted back into a pulp which can be used again and again to make new products, or if it ends up in landfill or the ocean it will fully biodegrade as there is no man made material in the product.
